Kondolenz löschen

It is with deep sadness that I read about the passing of Herr Wolfgang Meier. I offer my sincere condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him.

He occupied a truly unique place in the hearts of every single soldier who served with the British Army of the Rhine. The ringing of the bell heralded the arrival of the famous blue truck, there were plenty of times times we truly felt he'd been sent from heaven; and the shout went out 'Bratties, Pommes Mit Beer Bitte'!

Wolfgang rapidly became a legend amongst the troops, and that remains true to this day, and forever more!

Rest In Peace, you were a friend to all! You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten!
